The Elder Scrolls 6: Exclusivity of Xbox apparently insinuated by Phil Spencer

It definitely knows relatively little about the next The Elder Scrolls VI despite the fact that the initial ad teaser was launched years ago at this time. Since Microsoft acquired the parent company of Bethesda Soft works, Animal Media, last year, the future of the developer s large franchises has been questioned and if they will appear, for example, on the PlayStation consoles. And a new interview with the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, seems to indicate that, as it was rumored, The Elder Scrolls Vi will also be an exclusive Xbox.

It s not about punishing any other platform, as I fundamentally believe that all platforms can continue to grow, Spencer said. Now, that is not Spender saying that The Elder Scrolls VI is exclusive of the Xbox consoles, but it still does not sound like good news for PlayStation fanatics. STANFIELD, for example, is confirmed that it is exclusive of the Xbox and PC consoles, so there is certainly a precedent, although Star field is undoubtedly new intellectual property and not a long-term franchise.

Undoubtedly, there is also a precedent for Xbox s own titles that reach other consoles, of course, especially if the developers were acquired after the fact. Minecraft has not risen and disappeared from PlayStation despite the acquisition of the developer years ago. But it seems that the great budget AAA titles will not have the same Xbox response. DECATHLON may have escaped the exclusivity requirement thanks to previously existing contractual obligations, but it seems that the rest of the Bethesda titles will not receive the same treatment.

As noted above, basically there is no official information about The Elder Scrolls VI beyond the fact that it exists and the trailer of the announcement.
