I m looking forward to the kick-off and wants to ski well with full commitment, attack and self-confidence, said Luitz, who was last year as the 14th best German in Sölden. The preparation in summer had been good.

The German ski trucks hope at the Rettenbach Glacier to a better result than in the previous year, when the Italian Marta Bassino victory could not drive a DSV athlete under the best 30. Currently the skiing makes me great fun and correspondingly high is the motivation, said Filser.

In Sölden, women s giant slaloms are on Saturday (10am / 13:15) and the men on Sunday (10.00 / 13.30 clock). In contrast to the pandemie-related ghost race from the previous year, up to 9000 fans are expected this year.
